Living room before:
Linoleum floors and dark wood |
Please excuse the boxwood wreath on the fireplace-I meant to move it and forgot before I took the pictures! LOL |
I added white curtains and a small eating area |
A Round light colored coffee table and a white slip covered couch help lighten the room |
Before:
Long dark wall and corner |
Long table with lamps and a large light canvas help lighten this wall |
It was very difficult for me and my limited photography skills to get good pictures with the dark walls and windows |
Before:
A tall lamp and light colored table with a few accessories add some coziness |
Looking in to the kitchen from the front door |
Small kitchen off the main living space |
Cozy eating area that overlooks the front yard |
After:
Outside:
Bathroom:
There is another bedroom downstairs, a bathroom and the kitchen that I did not stage very much and so I didn't take pictures.
It was a fun cabin to stage with my limited resources, but I think it looks cute and cozy now and that is what I was going for!

You did a great job! I didn't know you also staged homes.

Thank you Brenda-I don't do much staging since I do work full time, but I like to do it when I can. I don't post about very often, but it is fun to do!
Deletethis is such a cute place with so much potential! you really brightened it up. I love those kitchen cabinets!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debra-this cabin has a lot of potential and I hope a beer can now see that!

ReplyDeleteIt's so cute! Now it's a cottagey cabin and so very welcoming.
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacey-I was going for a cabin/cottage looks!
DeleteWhat a transformation! You did great at bright! I can definitely see the potential and I would probably paint the walls in the living room and bedroom, but the kitchen I would leave as it. The little nook with the white table is my favorite and I would keep the wreath right where it is. Love the star! So, is the furniture and decor yours?
ReplyDeleteThank you-I would paint the walls too if it were my cabin. Yes all the stuff is from my stash and my workshop!
DeleteSo much better after you put your great touches. It looks so sweet and cozy.
ReplyDeleteKris

Thank you Mimi-I think the tweaks worked for the cabin and the agent was happy!
DeleteYou did a great job lightening up the space Darrielle! I didn't realize you were a home stager as well?
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie-I stage smaller places for a few agents and I don't do it that often because my job keeps me busy and I don't like to keep a lot of inventory around.
DeleteI'll take it!!! :-) That looks so awesome and what a wonderful transformation!! Made all the difference and it should sell pretty quickly!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Benita-The agent said the brokers open went well yesterday and I think it will sell fast too!
DeleteWhat a transformation! Nice work Darrielle. Love those big candlesticks by the fireplace :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane-I like staging small places!
