Color from Quandie Dresser

I am very happy to be showing this dresser because of Linda!
Linda from q is for quandie  is a great furniture painter and since I too like to paint things, we have become blogging friends.  She paints a lot with Fusion Mineral Based Furniture Paint  paints and I paint a lot with chalk paint from  The Urban Rooster, so we decided to swap paints to try each others favorites.  Last week I was in Mexico for 8 days and when I came home I had a package from Linda-best way to come home by the way!

Before:
Hudson is helping me!

This is an old dresser that needed some TLC and I knew the new paints would do the trick.  I pulled out Inglenook by Fusion Mineral Based Furniture Paint  and painted the dresser with two coats.  The paint goes on super smoothly and the nice thing is you do not need to use wax! After the paint dried, I hand painted a design in white and then put new knobs on and I was done.

Linda also sent me this very cute grow plate that she made and I placed it in my urn on the deck.

  2. I love the dresser! I haven't had a chance to try the Inglenook yet, although I have a jar on hand. You've inspired me to crack that open. The plate looks great peeking out of the lobelia and with your white hydrangea. I knew that with your love of flowers you would have the perfect spot for it!

  8. You had me at "no wax". You don't need anything to protect the Fusion Mineral Based Paint? Your dresser is gorgeous Darrielle - love the hand painted details!
