Deep Space for a Client's Projects

I paint pieces for clients all the time, but rarely show pictures of the finished product.  The reason for this is that I have the pieces dropped off in the mornings and then picked up the same day.  I do not have a ton of storage space and when I start to paint a piece, I like to finish it quickly.  This quick turn around means I do not have time to stage and photograph.

A client wanted me to paint 4 pieces for her home ( table, hall tree, dresser and bed) and her son dropped them off and picked them up.  I tried to take a few quick photos before they went back home.
Hall Tree Before:
My client wanted this to be a deep grey, so I chose Deep Space by Benjamin Moore and made it into chalk paint.

After painting this piece with 2 coats, I distressed is lightly and I sealed it with wax/Lindseed oil.

My client was loving this new look!

Dresser and Bed before:

For these pieces I lightened the grey a bit with some white and then painted them with 2 coats and sealed them with dark wax/Lindseed oil.

My client ordered new hardware

Happy Client again!  I can not find the picture of the table, but I stripped and sanded down the top and then stained it.  The pedestal base was painted in the same dark grey.

    1. Thank you Cristina-I add plaster of paris to my paint-I don't measure so I don't have an exact recipe, but if you do search you can find many that will work. Basically it is 1 part water/plaster to 3 parts flat paint.

    1. Thank you Cynthia-my family is happy I don't keep the pieces for more then a day that is for sure! I do have a workshop so I can keep the pieces out of my house and my families way. I painted the dresser and bed one day and then hall tree another day.
