My Green Stool

As many of you know I have this habit of picking up stools and painting them.  I am not sure why I am drawn to stools, but I am.
Before:

I am still going through a "green" phase and I painted this stool in a vintage green color with chalk paint and then heavily distressed it and sealed it with dark wax and hemp oil.

For now the stool has found a happy spot near my mantle!

  2. I love stools too because they are so versatile. They are small enough that they don't take up too much rooms either. Of course cheery color always brighten up any space.

    1. Thank you Jennifer-I made up the color until I got what I had in my head for a color. I like being creative and mixing away. To make a base green brighter I add a yellow and to make it a richer color I add blue to the green.
