Another set of Candlesticks with Gilding Wax

I have a client who reads my blog regularly and also has a shop.  She saw my aqua candlesticks and loved them so much that  she brought me a large paint of black candlesticks that she felt needed a new look.
Before:

I painted them in the same aqua color and then used gilding wax to to highlight the details.  The last step was to seal them in dark wax/hem oil.
