I was at the Flea Market looking for great deals when I came upon this buffet and I bought it. It is very large and heavy and had great bones.
Here is the before picture--Not bad, but I had another look for the buffet in my head.
The wood is actually in worse condition then it looks in these photos
Flipped down top
I mixed up some home made chalk paint in Chinchilla Blue by Benjamin Moore--this is a very light beachy blue grey color and I love it. I distressed and waxed the buffet and called it done!
The top drawers have dividers and a felt bottom and both can be removed to just have a basic drawer.
Folded down top
I love this old angel!

ReplyDeleteLove the color you chose for your unique buffet! It turned out very nicely.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's fabulous. I love the color, the drawers, and that flip down top. Good find. Hope you see you at Mes Amis in April...with no rain. I hurt my back in September, so couldn't make it then. Happy New Year.
