LOVE and my Mantle

I wanted to change my Mantle up after Christmas came down from around the house and get ready for the "LOVE" holiday in February: Valentine's Day.    I had asked my dad when I saw him at Christmas if he could cut me some rounds from the logs he was cutting up for firewood and he obliged me.  I painted them white and then wrote LOVE on them-I will be doing another post/tutorial on this project later.

Love Hydrangeas!

New Year Mantle

Lemon Cypress Topiary-needs a bigger urn, but these will do for now

I love Candles and have them going every evening-they are on some more firewood rounds from my Dad

Since I live by the ocean I like to always include a beach element

I wanted some pinks and reds for Valentine's Day

  6. The Cyclamen is so lovely on your mantle. It reminds me that I should get some myself to add a little green to my frozen world.

  8. Cute idea for a Valentine's box (or for any occasion really). Your mantle vignettes are great - love the pops of color. I'm jealous that you live near the beach while I sit here in the landlocked frozen tundra of the Canadian Prairies.
