Hi Darrielle! You do beautiful work on your furniture! I was just wondering when you use the hemp oil/dark wax do you do it with Miss Mustard Seed or Annie Sloan dark wax? The oil to wax ration, Is it half and half? I have used both the hemp oil and dark wax just never together and I think that is the perfect solution to not always being totally happy with each of them on their own. I assume the combo acts as a glaze as well as a finish. Do you brush it on and then rag wipe it off? Any additional hemp oil put on as a final coat? Thank you!
Darrielle, I can't tell if my email went through to you but I'd love to nominate you for the Liebster Award if you have less than 200 followers and consider yourself a newbie blogger! Let me know and I"ll fill you in on the details! Leelee @ paperbagstyling.blogspot.com leelee3b@gmail.com
You've mentioned finding hemp oil on Amazon and other places. Does it have to be any special type of hemp oil? I've just purchased my first bottle of MMS's brand, and with shipping, it's quite expensive. I've just found your blog and subscribed. Love your furniture transformations!
HI, I just found your note-I actually bought some hemp oil at Costco of all places. I usually buy from Amazon and have bought MMS hemp oil too, but I agree it is a tad expansive. I some times use Danish oil too
Hello! Your email address says to me that you might be in MI. I'm in MD and looking for someone who might be able to reupholster 2 Bergere chairs. I can paint, but that's beyond my skill level. :) I'm wrong and you're anywhere in MD, I'd be very interested in talking with you. I love your work! Thanks, Christine
