My New Grain-sack Chair


I found a great chair at a local thrift store and knew it had to come home with me.  
Before:
It was in pretty good shape and I could have just cleaned it and left it the way it was, but I wanted to use the fabric I had bought from DecorSteals.com.  I did not tackle this upholstery project myself, I had a lady named Joanie, she is sooooooo good, take on the project.  I did not trust myself since it involved stripes.  I absolutely love the chair now!

      Thank you Susan-I gave my friend 9 yards but I think she only used about 6.5. I have a lot left. I think the welting took up a bunch since it is cut on the bias.
