At the local Flea Market I spotted this great old dresser and had to have it. The drawers were a little wonky, but I knew it could be stunning so I bought it and brought it home.
Before:
I sanded the top and rubbed it with AS dark wax.
I mixed up some Niagara Green milk Paint from Homestead and started to paint away.
Love the hardware!
Chippiness at its BEST! |
I love the variation in Milk Paint! |
I Can't get enough of Milk Paint!

ReplyDeleteMmmm mmmm mmmm.... so pretty! And that hardware is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteshe turned out gorgeous, darrielle! i recently noticed that particular shade of green on the homestead site when i was searching for milk paint colors for a little dresser i just re-did. so much better when one can see it on a larger piece instead of a little square sample. and with the darker word showing up in the chippiness - delicious!!! i actually ended up selecting mms "dried lavender" and am really happy with the color. detailed it out with her white wax. have you used either? i have to say, i'm kinda hooked and already searching for my next piece to transform. probably a table that i have. anyways, found you on the niftythriftythings link party. cheers!
ReplyDeleteI love how you updated the beautiful dresser.
