I bought this simple and plain desk at the Flea Market and thought it would look great painted a cheerful color.
Before:
I mixed up some home-made chalk paint and painted the desk first in grey, but it looked boring so I got out some blues and greens and mixed away until I got a bright Springy green. After painting the desk in this color it was too bright so I waxed the entire desk with AS dark wax and finally got the look I was going for.
I love my Ironstone Pot with Flowers! |
Now I like it!

ReplyDeleteI love that you painted this! I have two similar desks that were handed down to me from MIL and I can't convince hubs to let me paint them!
