Lucketts Green Chippy Stool



At my local Flea Market I spied this cute little wooden stool and I knew it would look good in milk paint.
Before:

 This week I received my order of MMS milk paint that I had ordered, so I pulled out Lucketts Green by Miss Mustard Seed.  After mixing the paint up in an old sour cream container, I got to painting.  When the stool had dried I scraped it with my spackel knife and then sealed it with hemp oil.  




Chippy Goodnes! 






What's not to love about chippiness and dried roses?

    That milk paint is amazing. It looks like a genuine old chippy peel-y painted piece. Love the color too for spring, fall & Christmastime.

      Thank you Cynthia--I love using milk paint but the mixing up to the right consistency takes some practice. Good luck with your piece!

    Hmmm....was gonna give this a try on my old stool that my dad made for me. But...not sure I would know about the consistency. Are there visual directions for this? Love the color!!

      Thank you! If you go to Miss Mustard Seeds blog she has great videos about mixing and painting with milk paint. I say go for it and learn as you do it--that is what I did and I love using milk paint now. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
