Robins Egg Blue and Gold on a French Provincial Dresser

I found this very cute and small French Provincial dresser at the Flea Market and loaded it up to come home with me.
Before:

I bought Robins Egg blue chalky paint from The Urban Rooster  and decided to try this new color on this dresser.  Since this piece had a laminate top, I did give it a quick sand so the paint would adhere better.  After 2 coats of paint I sealed the dresser with clear AS wax and then hand painted the details and the pulls in gilding wax.  I felt like this dresser needed a little somethin-somethin so gold it was!

Hydrangea and silver-what's not to like?

I used gilding wax on the pulls

  2. Lovely! I did check in to this paint but can't find any retailers. Is it mail order only?
    Have a great week!

    1. Thank you Paige-the Urban Rooster is a new paint company and they have some retailer, but mostly order by mail. It is a very reasonable cost compared to many chalk paint companies. If you mention that you heard if rom my blog that would be helpful. I might begin to sell it soon too.
