French Provincial Dresser

I found this great French Provincial Dresser by Bassett on CL last week and brought it home.

I thought this dresser would look good in soft neutral colors so I created my own custom color from ooopsie paint from my local paint store and then made it into homemade chalk paint.

I painted the dresser with two coats of the paint and then a added some white to it and got a lighter version and I painted the drawer fronts.  The next step was stop seal it with dark wax/tung oil.

  1. I usually don't care for shades of grey, but this griege shade is gorgeous and fits the dresser to a tee!
