Gypsy Coral Desk

After painting the apron Strings dresser and posting it, I have gotten a lot of response from it.  A local Dealer saw the dresser and loved the color and she wanted me to paint a desk for her in a similar color.  I went to the local paint store with her and she picked out a coral color for her desk.

The desk BEFORE:

It was a great desk with lots of beautiful details, but the piece was very dark and scratched and she wanted it to be a pop of color in her house.  I mixed up my home-made chalk paint with Plaster of Paris and started to paint away.  After painting the desk I distressed and  hemp oiled/dark waxed it.

I delivered it and she LOVED it!
