French Provincial Table


I found this cute little table a few weeks back and have finally gotten around to painting it.
Before:
The table had great lines and curves, but was to orange for my taste and I thought it would look good in a soft grey color.  I mixed up some grey home-made chalk paint and got my brush going.  I decided to accent the edges with white chalk paint and so hand painted the edges and a few other spots.  After I distressed it a little, I sealed the table with dark wax/hemp oil and put a cute ceramic knob on the drawer.

    I know I've said it before...but you do such a great job bringing pieces of furniture back to life! LOVE the color combination on this very sweet table. The silver pitcher with pink hydrangeas are the perfect accessory!
