Antler Project

Krista has been wanting to re-do her bedroom and she was looking for an antler to hang on her wall.  Total luck, but the very next day after she showed me what she was looking for on Pinterest, I found something similar at the Goodwill.  She is going for a Southwestern Bohemian Look.
To make the Antler project look good, we painted the wooden shield/base in Midnight  Sky by  The Urban Rooster .  The white (fake) skull needed to be changed so it was painted in Marshmallow and then heavily waxed with AS dark wax.  For the final detail, I got out my glue gun and we glued twine around the edges of the back and the skull.
