I have not posted for awhile about my junkin' finds and I thought it was about time I did. Now that my new workshop is built I have a great place to store and work on projects.
Here are some treasures from the last few weeks.

Wow!!! What amazing finds out Junkiń! I would love to see those three Howard Miller school clocks hung side by side as a trio of different time zones. In my kitchen I have two different one laborious the other petal vintage Elika stainless steel clocks hung. One is EST and the other Paris time.
ReplyDeleteHave fun recreating all your delightful finds.
xx,
Vera
Thank you Vera-I think the clock idea is brilliant! I just bought them because I liked the look.
DeleteAnother great haul! My favorites are the oil painting hand carved spoons...wish I lived near your shop so I could come buy a couple of those spoons. I have the same girl bust...and the boy one that matches. Are you going to paint her or leave her white?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, DD.
thank you Marigene-I actually don't have a store believe it or not! I love the spoons too, but my friend thought I was crazy for buying them. I am going to leave the girls white as is.
DeleteI love all of those, especially the dressers, bust, clocks and mirror...I've got this thing for mirrors and clocks....LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you Benita-I have a thing for mirror too and dressers!
DeleteOk Lady " Di "
ReplyDeleteI am taken with some or most of your finds. I had those candlesticks yeas ago when I was thinking more on the lines of R/A with design pieces for my shop my retail store that is.
As for the sailing ship in the sea, what a beauty, and a favorite it the terra cotta patina bust....
Now the apron I think could fetch a good price not as an apron, but as to cutting it up and turning it into a over stuffed feather insert throw pillow for a beach coastal home. You could cut a sizable square from the front with that lobster and back it with sail cloth or canvas, it's a sure accent pieces that so on trend.
You always inspire a great find, many finds I should say.
Thank you my dear for taking the time to visit me and leaving a beautiful compliment to my feature on your way home.
See you soon.
Xx
Dore
Thank you Dore-Ooooooh love your idea for the lobster and a pillow and I think I will try that!

Thank you Debra-I do like the hunt and yes it is time to get to work!
DeleteGreat finds in this post, but my favorite are those heavy letters. They are truly fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you-I love the letters too and I kept a T since my last name is Tennenbaum!
DeleteWow, you found some treasures! I wish I could find a white bust like that. Love those wooden letters! Just found your blog and so happy I did. I'm a new follower and look forward to seeing what you do with these.

Pat
Thank you Pat-so happy to have a new follower and I agree the letters are great!
DeleteAwesome finds as always!!
ReplyDeleteThank You Martina-I am always on the hunt for treasures
DeleteI really like the dresser with the images. Is it decoupage, painted, or marquetry? I like the color of the wood, and the worn finish on it, but are those knobs original? They look like they came off of something else, given the little key holes on the drawers. Are the keyholes real? I also like the oil painting image. I think all the other wooden items will look fantastic with your paintbrush! xoxo Su
ReplyDeleteThank you Su-the dresser is handprinted and I think it is really old. My plan is to restore and keep the drawer fronts with the pictures and redo the top because it has a lot of damage.
DeleteIt's a good thing I don't have to choose a favorite. Oh my!!! Thanks for sharing your fabulous treasures at VIParty.
ReplyDeleteThank you Betsy-I love the hunt for treasures!
