I found a great old serpentine dresser on Craigslist:
Before:
It was in very rough shape-drawers sticking, dings, scratches and paint coming off.

After a good cleaning and a quick sanding I was ready to paint.

I ordered Libo Blue and Island White.  I decided to paint the dresser with Libo Blue.  After painting the dresser with one coat-I was in love with this paint!  I paint a lot of furniture and I have to say that this paint is now one of my favorites for  sure.  It goes on smooth, dries fast, and has excellent coverage!

I was very impressed that paint naturally filled in and disguised most of  the rough issues this dresser had.  I definitely did not make it smooth before I started to paint.

I added new ceramic knobs to the dresser from D. Lawless Hardware

I did add a quick coat of clear wax out of habit, but it wasn't necessary.

I am SO loving this paint!

I love wooden castors!

I also painted this drop-leave table turned desk with this wonderful paint in Island White.
I will be  posting  about it shortly

  12. Very pretty! I love the vintage serpentine dressers. I'd like to try that paint. Thanks for the link; I'm going to look at it. Also, I really love the architectural salvage piece sitting on the dresser. I love it's chippy, rough look. Looking forward to the next project!

  16. I think you're the second person I've seen this week who got to try this new paint. The other gal was really impressed with it too. I'll have to remember this since the prep part is the yucky party. :)

Happy Thoughts of Home on Thursday. :)
