Smokey Ash Dresser with White Wax

A few weeks back a lady bought my grey dresser with white wax and she loved it and brought it home.  Now here is were it gets interesting.  Her best friend loved it too and so she called me up and asked if I had any other dressers like it.

The Dresser that started it all!
Before:
This picture makes the dresser look much better then it did in real life!
As luck would have it, I did have a similar dresser in my workshop waiting to be painted.  The Lady came over and loved it and wanted it painted like the first one. I obliged her of course! I painted it with Smokey Ash by The Urban Rooster   and then sealed it with home made tinted white wax    (Tinted wax  Tutorial ).

Love the knobs!

  12. This turned out great. The obvious thing would be to paint it a solid colour but I love how you have left the plain wood in places. Also the white wax makes for an interesting finish. Love it!
