Turning 12 and the Remodel/Addition

Today was a special day in our family-my daughter turned 12!

She wanted rice crispy ice cream cones to take to her Volleyball Team practice

I made this giant canvas for her when she was turning 2 and bring it out every year for her birthday!

The other BIG news in our family is we have started our major Addition/remodel to our 100+ year old farmhouse/cottage.  We have waited a Long time for this work to be done and I am over the Moon that it is finally happening.  We are adding extra square footage to out house that will include a Master Suite, a new bedroom for my daughter, a small laundry room and an office/media room.  If you follow me on Instagram I post the progress every day.  Today the foundation was made and next week the framing goes up.  I am excited and tired already!
