Vanity Dressed in White

I went to one of the local Thrift stores after Crossfit today and fell in love with this grungy old vanity.  The price was not great, but I thought there was a beautiful piece hidden in there-- so I bought the vanity and loaded it up in my car.
Before:
Can you see the beauty? It's there under the grunge.

Ugly on the surface, but good bones!

I mixed up my home made chalk paint--Milky Way by Benjamin Moore bought at Kings Paint and started to transform.  After 3 coats of paint I distressed the vanity and waxed it with a mixture of Danish oil and AS clear wax.  I love how it turned out.

  16. This is beautiful. I like how you saw the magic in it, under the dirt and grime. It really does look magical, like it belongs in a princesses' room. I saw your link at Silver Spoons. Ann Marie @ Iris Abbey
