On my weekly search of the thrift stores in my area, I found this buffet that needed some help.
Before:
My vision for this piece was white and clean and crisp, so I mixed up home-made chalk paint in Garlic Clove by Bejamin Moore and got to painting. After about 3 coats of paint, I sealed the buffet with clear wax and put the hardware back on.
Simple and Fresh

White was the perfect choice for this piece...I love how the pretty knobs pop now against the white!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Martina-I love the white too -I can't wait to paint a piece with a bold color though! I have been on vacation a lot lately so I am looking forward to being home for awhile. I have a few custom pieces to work on!
ReplyDeleteWow! It's so pretty and to figure what it used to look like: you had quite the vision....!! :)
