French End Table

I found this cut little table when I went junking with one of my good friends.  It looked good the way it was, but I thought it could look better.  I brought it home and it sat in my workshop for a few weeks until today.
Before:
I really love the delicate legs.  I placed a big order with Do It Yourself Chic.com awhile back of resin appliqués so I could have them on hand when I needed them.  I glued with wood glue a rose spray appliqué to each side and painted the table in home-made white chalk paint.  The last step was to cover with hemp oil/dark wax. I love it!

Beautiful dainty  detailed legs!

  1. I found you via "My Romantic Home"! I love the vignette you created...it has a very Gustavian, serene quality.
