Frenchy Desk

I decided to use my new Long Farm Table as my home office desk so my old desk had to go.  It needed an overhaul, but was in good shape.
Before:

The desk was a great desk, but I needed a bigger one that could have 2 people sit at with 2 different computers.

I mixed up an aqua home-made chalk paint and painted away.  I added Rub-n-Buff in gold to the details, distressed and waxed with my hemp oil/dark wax mix.  I love how it turned out!

I love it so much I might have to keep it!

  1. Gorgeous makeover Darrielle - it caught my eye over at the Inspiration Exchange Party! I'm thinking about trying homemade chalk paint to save $$$ but am so nervous about it. Do you find it gets just as good of coverage without priming as the ready made brands?
