A Mirror and a Chalkboard-going Green!

I found this mirror at the Flea Market a few weeks ago and decided it should be painted for my daughter's cottage make-over.
Before:
Since the look is greens and blues I mixed up a soft green in chalk paint and painted the mirror with a few coats.  I wanted the details to pop a little so I brushed on gilders paste with my finger and my daughter now loves it!

I also took this basic chalkboard that I found at a  local thrift store and painted it green for my daughter's cottage.

  12. I have a mirror almost exactly like this that I found at a thrift store. Never painted mine & I've even added black poster board at times and used it as a chalkboard. :)
