Trying to figure out the Blog thing!
Here is another furniture transformation I did this week.  I bought an old laminate topped table that had great legs and transformed it in to a cutie!

Before:
 I removed the laminate top:

I then painted the base with Miss Mustard Seed Lucketts Green milk Paint

I wanted a plank top for this table so I bought planks from the local lumber store and my father-in-law, Papa,  helped me dowel and glue the planks together to make a top for the table base.  I wanted to make a farm table/desk.  I used AS dark Wax to finish the plank top and I love the table!

 Table/desk finished!

This piece is looking for a good home!

  2. Thanks! I had fun making the table. It was an old table from a school but it needed some work.

  3. I am in love with your desk/table.

My husband has hated our custom made table for the 10 years since we had it made. He wants a larger table top on it and I think your idea might must be what we can do to make us both happy.
