Staging a small Beach Cottage

I occasionally will stage a house for local real estate agents and was recently asked to help out with a small beach cottage.  This cottage was very small and needed some work, but the bones  were good and it was a small enough project that I could fit it in with my busy work schedule.  I don't have the before pictures ( the real estate agent hasn't sent them over yet), but it was full of funky furniture and very dirty.   Here is the AFTER:

  11. Oh Darrielle, how sweet is this little rustic cottage full of romance is by the sea :)
I have to tell you one of my most favorite structures in a home is the open trusses on the ceiling, and the header beam is massively inspiring.
I see where your tiger oak chest has been placed, you are just staging the place right? I do hope that piece goes back home with you if not I hope it's a good sale, and it should be with how cool that piece is painted. You did an amazingly relaxed job on the designs, I know I sure would buy it if I were I. Your marketed area.

    Have a great week.

    1. Thank you Dore-I think the cottage is ver sweet and peaceful and I would live there. The cottage got 5 offers after the first showing! I put the chippy chest of drawers in the cottage because it looked like it would belong there. I will be taking it home with me very soon and it will go to Mes Amis-Vintage Show in a bout 2 weeks. It really was a fun project because it is a house I would live in. Thanks for your kind words!
